TILE TOP bentwood GARDEN TABLE OR BBQ TABLE

This is a fun project. I used bent wood (mostly Alder ) for I have alot of that here on our property but I would recommend cedar if you can get your hands on it.I always pre drill my holes and then use long 3 1/2 inchs screws. I made these awhile (years)back. I try to use mostly recycled items for alot of my projects or ideals. The tile came from a tile company and were remmants piece they give away at most tile stores. I made the legs first and the shelfs then I broke up the pieces of tile and put them on a piece of ply wood for the top. I made one for my garden pots and the other for BBQ'S on my back deck. It fun to be creative and no two will be alike.

arbors planters and benchs

This also is a great ideal for a rustic gardener. I made this long a while back using bentwood. Alder but cedar holds up better. I put planters on both sides of arbor and then made benchs. The planters on this sides I used old tarps to line the inside then put pilewood then put the stick bentwood on. The benchs can look cute with three big cut logs and study stick wood or can use treated wood. I made both but the benchs picture here are of treated wood.

This is some of the pictures of the gazebo and this is my first blog so if I post the smae please forget me, I am a newbee

BENTWOOD GAZEBO

This gazebo was made out of down trees from a winter storm that blew into the Northwest. I used vintage furniture that I re did for the inside and added a antique chandelier. There are 8 windows that I hung old stain glass inside and found vintage planters and plante stands. I have fake plants inside with twinkle lights for mood and put solar tiny lights on the outside roof rim. I then surround the outside with flower beds. This measures 13 feet around and top off the roof with a copper mother bird weathervane feeding her 4 baby birds. The roof is 3 shingle tab and the floor is cement with a terra cotta color throw into the cement before it dried. I also have a wood baseboard that I sealed and put a discount new rug inside. This mostly is made from recycled items that came from garage sells, estate sales and auction
